Privacy Policy

Account details you give us: your name, email address, and (optionally) a phone number, date of birth, preferred playing position and jersey number.

Emergency contact details you choose to provide, so we can look after you at events.

Membership and participation records: the events you express interest in, team selections, attendance, and match statistics.

Photos and video captured at club events and training, which may be added to the club media library and, where relevant, the public gallery.

If you install the Lumberjacks phone app and allow notifications: a push notification token and an anonymous device identifier for that phone, so we can send you the notifications you have chosen.

If you use field time check-in: your phone's location at the moment you check in and the moment you check out, with its accuracy, so the club can confirm you were at a saved field. Your location is not tracked in between or at any other time.

To run the club: approving membership, selecting teams, organising events and training, and keeping you informed.

To send you the emails and app notifications you have chosen in your notification settings.

To keep basic performance statistics for members, some of which (for pro-team players) are shown publicly.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except where needed to run the club (for example, an event host's registration list) or where the law requires it.

You can view and update your profile at any time from your account.

You can choose which emails and app notifications you receive, category by category, from Notifications in your account; essential account emails (approval, password, receipts) and duty alerts for a committee role you hold will still be sent.

You can stop app notifications on a phone by removing it under Notifications in your account, by signing out of the app on it, or by turning notifications off in your phone's settings. Your field time is shown only to you.

You can download a copy of the personal data we hold about you from your account.

You can delete your account at any time. When you do, we anonymise your record, your name, contact details and other identifying information are permanently scrubbed, while de-identified historical statistics may be retained for club records.

Members under 18 may join with a parent/guardian's awareness; contact us to have a minor's information removed.

Member data is stored in a secured database; passwords are hashed and never stored in readable form.
